(1) Amended by the third amendment to ban the export of forest products collected or received by a person in accordance with this regulation as per sub-rule (2). If an application is made for the export of forest products other than forest products, the authorized officer shall contact the relevant customs office for permission to export abroad. (2) The Government of Nepal may ban the export of certain types of forest products abroad by publishing a notice in the Nepal Gazette.
(3) If any person, organization or enterprise submits an application for import, sale, distribution or re-export of forest produce from abroad along with a customs declaration letter and official certificate of the relevant country, except for the ban on collection, use, sale, distribution, transportation and export. The authorized officer may grant permission to import and distribute such forest produce or re-export it abroad.
